Huellas Latinas is a nonprofit that offers a wide variety of outdoor activities and adventures for the Latino community and its allies.
Huellas Latinas’ activities provide people with new perspectives to learn, connect, and enjoy nature. In addition, they offer the opportunity to meet and interact with others, visit different places, and develop new skills.
Being a member of Huellas Latinas gives you the opportunity to be part of an inclusive community that promotes well-being and connection with nature.
As a member, you will have access to exclusive activities, special events, and resources designed to enrich your outdoor experience. Additionally, your membership will allow you to contribute to the growth of initiatives that positively impact Latino families, creating an environment where everyone can learn, share, and enjoy together.
Joining Huellas Latinas is more than a membership; it is being part of a family that celebrates culture, nature, community, diversity, and inclusion.
Membership Benefits
1. Newsletters
Members will have access to an exclusive newsletter with updates on upcoming events, organization news, and tips on outdoor activities.
3. Discounts
Members will receive a discount code for activities organized by Huellas Latinas that require a registration fee. Additionally, they are eligible for a variety of discounts with our partners.
5. Ambassador
We encourage our members to represent Huellas Latinas as a voice for hiking and public lands on social media.
Create content and storytelling to share on our blog, and participate in campaigns, programs, and activities advocating for the environment.
7. Membership Facebook Group
By becoming a member of Huellas Latinas, you will gain exclusive access to our private Facebook group for members.
This group is an ideal platform to connect and communicate with other members, share your outdoor experiences, get tips and recommendations, strengthen connections, exchange knowledge, and stay informed about all the latest news and events in our community.
9. Trips & Activities
Membership is required to participate in most trips and activities that span more than one day. Non-members can attend our single-day activities!
2. Special Events
Members will be invited to exclusive gatherings and special events.
4. Miles Stone
We encourage our members to track their miles annually. Report your miles and receive recognition each time you accumulate 25 miles (25, 50, 75, 100 miles & more).
6. Member Committee
By becoming a member of Huellas Latinas, you will have the opportunity to join the Member Committee, an exclusive group that plays a crucial role in planning and organizing our activities and events. Participating in this committee allows you to contribute your ideas and skills, and collaborate with other members passionate about nature and community well-being.
Additionally, it is an excellent opportunity to develop your leadership skills, work as a team, expand your network within the community, and potentially participate in other committees and/or the organization’s board in the future.
8. Equipment
As a membership benefit, you are eligible to borrow equipment from our inventory to use and enjoy during our activities. Conditions apply.
10. Membership Kit
Upon joining Huellas Latinas, you will receive a membership kit that may include, but is not limited to: an official Huellas Latinas t-shirt and stickers. The kit may vary between individual and family memberships. This kit is designed to showcase your pride and belonging to our community from day one.
Membership is effective upon receipt of funds and expires annually. Choose your membership type, join, or renew your membership using online payment, or contact us at hola@huellaslatinas.com for other payment options. Once payment has been made, we will contact you by email to complete your registration.

We value our business members and want to give back by recognizing their support for our organization. In this regard, your company will be acknowledged in the following ways depending on your level of support:
Discovery Level of $50 – $250
Your company’s logo will be featured on our website in the commercial sponsors section.
Exploration Level $250 – $500
Your company’s logo will be featured on our website in the commercial sponsors section. Additionally, you will receive recognition in our monthly electronic newsletter.
Connection Level $500 – $1000
Your company’s logo will be featured on our website in the commercial sponsors section. You will receive recognition in our monthly electronic newsletter. Additionally, your company will be mentioned on our social media and in our podcast once a month
We are open to collaborating in other creative ways. We are seeking sponsors for our events and love engaging in collaborative activities. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please do not hesitate to contact us at hola@huellaslatinas.com.
