Why This Work Matters
Access to nature is not equal for everyone. Many Latino families face barriers such as lack of information, cultural representation, or opportunities to explore outdoor spaces.
Huellas Latinas was created to change that reality.
Through community-led experiences, we are building pathways for Latino families to discover nature, strengthen well-being, and become the next generation of environmental stewards.
Our Programs

Community hikes and gatherings that introduce families to outdoor spaces.
Camping and backpacking adventures that deepen connection with nature.
Nature-based wellness experiences such as forest bathing and mindfulness.
Seasonal outdoor activities including kayaking, biking, and winter adventures.
