Forest Bathing
Forest Bathing is a therapy in the forest that involves a deep connection with ourselves, nature, and our surroundings through the senses. The Forest Bathing program offers the opportunity to learn a new way to connect with nature, recognizing the significant benefits this practice brings to individuals’ physical, mental, and emotional health.
These activities take place in local, regional, and/or state parks, providing an excellent opportunity to build relationships with new people, strengthen friendships, and foster a sense of community. All our outdoor activities offer an inclusive environment and welcome people of all races, genders, ages, nationalities, religions, sexual orientations, and ability levels, as well as their pets. We believe that everyone can benefit, have fun, and learn about recreation in Minnesota.
No prior experience or special skills are required to participate in this program. Activities may or may not include beverages and snacks. Since 2022, this program has been developed in collaboration with key partners such as Minnesota State Parks and Trails and Motz Studios.
